A modest hotel, clean. lovely staff on reception and also a really good attentive team on the breakfast service. Parking is a little tight in the car park and the you do take your life into your hands when driving out of the car park attached to the hotel. Good value for money.

Winding corridors and creaking floorboards. But clean and staff were pleasant. Breakfast uninspired but the poached eggs were perfect! Wifi only in the bar and restaurant is a pain but apparently it will be available in rooms by the summer

Clean rooms and friendly reception staff and in a fairly good position. The whole place needs modernizing, its a bit dated and looking tired in places. Lots of corridors and mini stair cases to negotiate to get to your room. Probably the smallest TVs I've ever seen in a hotel room. Wifi not available in the rooms.

We stayed for 1 night. Double room and a travel cot for our baby. Clean light room and toiletries supplied. Room a little basic, but I think that's fine for the price. Friendly service on reception. Car parking also fine, although quite small spaces! Shop opposite handy for chocolate etc, I think they are open until 9p.m.
