I stayed at the Cobo Bay recently, unfortunately for only one night, as it was probably one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in (and I average at least one night a week in hotels). Excellent service, excellent food, excellent room, excellent price - in fact, I just couldn't fault it at all. Shame about the weather,... more

I found myself in the smallest single room I have ever stayed in. Not much longer than a single bed. For which I paid 79 pounds, not value for money. fixtures and fittings were clean and 'luxurious' despite the small space free wifi and a flat screen tv that didn't quite work the hotel is in a nice location, and... more

The Cobo Bay Hotel is very good. We were lucky to have a 2nd floor Balcony room at the front of the Hotel. It was very light and airy with a good bathroom. It is very difficult to stop talking pictures of the sunset in the bay. The food is really good and not too expensive. Breakfast is very good... more

I booked this hotel online for a birthday celebration for a 3 night stay. Hotel really clean and staff really helpful in all respects. Had a double room on first floor with balcony and seaview it is worth paying the extra cost. You could watch the sunset in the evening from your room which is really great. Bus stops 2... more

I read a lot of good reviews about this hotel before I went, so had high expectations, which were mostly met. The hotel staff - particularly the receptionists and the restaurant staff - were really nice and really friendly. The location is brilliant - the village of Cobo has just about everything you need: small supermarket, fish & chip shop,... more

Stayed here for four nights, hotel located in beautiful position over lovely beach. Unfortunately my stay was marred by having to change rooms twice. The first room I had was very nice, but unfortunately had to move after bathroom tiles crashed into bath! The second room I was given was a good size but unfortunately positioned over the kitchens so... more

Very clean hotel, friendly staff and location just across the road to a good sandy beach. Beautiful view and sunset, making a balcony room highly desirable. Room with LCD TV, tea-maker and all you need. Breakfast above average (we have had better hot toast and personally cooked eggs to taste elswhere), but the evening dinner was exceptionally good -better than... more

Lovely hotel in a wonderful location. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast superb. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Don't eat at Crabby Jacks though, the food is overpriced substandard and the service bordered on downright rude. more
