What an excellent setting and what a superb place to stay. We stayed for four days and even though hire car came with the package we did not really want to leave the hotel. There is a beautiful beach at the bottom of the wooded valley where the Fermaine is situated so to be honest there is very little reason... more

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon (also stayed 4 nights in Jersey). On booking into the hotel we were met by excellent service and efficiency from staff, who explained everything we needed to know about the hotel and showed us where everything was. We parked the car at the hotels own car park and then were... more

Fermain Hotel has a great location - partial sea views, lovely rooms mostly with balconys. Rooms are well cleaned although perhaps a little too quickly as my particular room had several cobwebs which had not been cleared by my departure date. The hotel is well located for access to beautiful cliff walks and the excellent Fermain Cafe on the beach... more

Dear Redbears, Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear of your appreciation of our location, but was very sorry to hear of the service that you received in our Brasserie. We will certainly look into those issues that you raised, though I do assure you we have tremendous feedback regarding the friendliness and quality of our team,...

My partner and I recently returned after a lovely getaway to Guernsey. We heard great reviews of the Fermain Valley Hotel and decided to give it a try. From the booking process to departing the hotel we received 5* service all the way through. The reservationist was very helpfull in explaining the various packages they offer, and which one would... more

My husband booked this hotel direct for our wedding anniversary. We stayed on the "Gourmet Package" for 2 nights in a platinum room. The package included flights, car hire, room and half board (one night at "Christophe's"). The hotel is located just above a beautiful bay (beach pebbles not sand) with an excellent beach cafe. The views throughout the hotel... more

Stayed at this hotel on the weekend break offer, including hire car for a fiver and loved it. Went to Christophes for a fabulous meal one night. You can walk from here along the cliff path to St Peterport or catch a bus from outside Christophes or get a cab ( about £7). Would definitely return. Only about 3 miles... more

Another great stay at this hotel, we always have a pleasant and relaxing time. Did not like the room we were given this time, the manager at reservations looked into it and managed to change us without any fuss. We prefer the lower floor of the balcony rooms as the rooms are larger, and we enjoy relaxing around the balcony... more

We took the Fermain's 2-night gourmet break package, which provides very good value inclusive of flights, a meal in the brasserie and a meal in the Michelin-starred Christophe's restaurant. Our first visit to Guernsey and we much enjoyed walking round the ciffs and coves; the Fermain is in a good spot above the idyllic Fermain Bay and the cliff walk... more

Warm & friendly staff combined with excellent customer service made this hotel a pleasure to stay in for a long weekend break. The food was very well presented and good to eat. The 2 night Gourmet Break was excellent value especially as it included a wonderful 7 course meal with wines to match at Christophe's restaurant attached to the garden... more
