A lovely welcome with tea and cake ,the room was exellent with all the little touches that made it homely. The breakfast idea was great ,choose from the menu the night before and its ready for you in the morning along with lots of other choices at such a very high standared. more

Just came back form Brookside stayed there whilst in Brixham at a family Funeral John And Tess were the most lovely hosts nothing was to much trouble the house was imaculate decorated lovely,beautiful garden ,the breakfast was excellent this is the best B&B that we have ever been to, would definatly go again if your looking for B&B in south... more

Smart, modern, comfortable and welcoming. Friendly but not intrusive help. Great and imaginative breakfasts. Slightly more expensive but definitely better quality than many. Well worth consideration. more

We stayed 4 nights in late September, using Brookside as a base for 3 days sea kayaking in the area. Brookside was recommended by the kayaking instructor as several of his other customers had reported favourably. Our room was excellent. Stylish, very comfortable and spacious. Outstanding value and our hosts, John and Tess, warm and friendly. It could not have been better and we will undoubtedly be staying there again in the future, when visiting our friends in the area. more
