Over a period of years we have stopped off at the Golden Lion House on our way to visit our daughter. There has always been a good welcome, and having stayed in all the double rooms I can vouch for the good standard, and comfortable beds. More

Stayed during the coldest week of the year. Very comfortable, excellent breakfast, large room with settee and TV. Wifi that worked. Car parking. Plenty of pubs nearby for good evening meals. Splendid. More
