Friendly and welcoming staff. Wide selection of meals available. Generous portions. Can recommend the burgers! Attractive pub with views over the road to the River Dart. Excellent location just off the A38. Recommended!

“Great stay”

Very friendly helpful staff, great food and super location for visiting many different places of interest.Nearby Buckland Abbey an absolute must. The huge stainglass window and grounds brilliant.It is a free attraction but donations warmly accepted.

A really miserable day. We were hoping for a good walk at Dartington. The rain just got heavier. So we shopped at Shinners Bridge. Then visited Buckfast Abbey.
