We arrived shortly after 2pm the chap on reception couldn't find the key to room 4 (our room). He thought perhaps the new cleaner had left it in the room , so off he went without apology in search of the key. He returned minuted later still without the key, there didn't seem to be an allocated place to put... more

Firstly I didn't stay at the Dartbridge Inn, I went there for a meal with my 3 year old son on Saturday 21st November 2009 at 2.15pm. I arrived for a late lunch with my son and waited at the bar to be served for a few minutes before a barman turned up from backstage. There was only one barman... more

August Bank Holiday weekend. First room allocated to us as claustrophobic, had a skylight window that was grubby (when opened the dirt fell onto one of the beds). The walls are decorated in thick swirly grubby artex. Beds were comfortable. Manager refused to move us to another room the first night (although he did so in the morning). The second... more

Stayed at The Dartbridge Inn for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend. Was disappointed with the room and as some of the other reviews state, the walls are VERY thin, you can hear everything your neighbours are doing, which was rather annoying while trying to sleep. I didn't believe the reviews until my 1st night there and now I... more

The basis of the establishment is a 200 year old inn. It is a pub, part of the Green King chain. There are ten rooms, which are small and cramped, all seem to have creaky floorboards and thin walls. Also the heating in the upstairs area is ratched up really high, making it uncomfortable when trying to sleep. There is... more

Stayed here after using a discount voucher so for the reduced price I was happy. Good points Good easy to find location close to Dartmoor and attractions with plenty of parking. The bed (Room 10) was huge and new and so comfortable we had a great nights sleep Great food throughout the stay from breakfast to dinner The view overlooking... more

The location did not make up for the poor service and lack of cleaning and was not therefore worth what we paid. The bin in our room had not been emptied, there was a razor full of short & curlies on the bath and when we went for breakfast in the bar area, here were chips & crips all over... more

I stayed at the Dartbridge Inn in December. Myself and many family and friends stayed there as we were all attending a wedding nearby. It was the perfect place for us to stay, we had 2 very enjoyabe nights. We had 6 rooms out of the 10 available, some rooms were better than others, all adequate although some have slightly... more

The inn ground floor is warm and inviting with tables laid for food over a large expanse, I was allocated room 6 which is at the far end of the inn on the first floor although there is an overflow car park at the rear of the building with a door the same level as the as the accommodation floor... more
