We booked a one night stay at Furzeleigh as we were having a very short break in Devon, we arrived just before 6pm and were shown to a lovely, comfortable ensuite room. However the trouble started when the occupants of the neighbouring room returned, they were very noisy and being an old building the floors are very rickety and there is... More

Our stay at Furzeleigh Mill was full of traditional hospitality, excellent food in a beautiful building. Our room was cosy, plenty of hanging space, tea and coffee, wonderful comfortable bed with masses of hot water and central heating. Phil the Chef's dinners were superb, great menu with local produce on the special's. Our lovely hosts, Bob and Ann ensured we... More

We stayed here for 2 nights arriving on the Friday, as part of a shooting party, and had a fabulous weekend. Despite the weather being truly awful, this place was friendly, warm and cosy. Ann and Bob the owners are lovely people, and we were all made to feel very welcome. Our rooms, although small, were spotlessly clean and nicely... More

We stayed here one night when we were touring the Uk. We called in on the off chance of accommodation, and were delighted when we got a room with an ensuite. The evening meal was lovely, as was next days breakfast. Our hosts were warm and friendly, and our room was clean and refreshing. Would certainly stay again.

I have stayed here several times for evening business meetings. Lovely surroundings, very picturesque looking hotel, small and very very friendly. Excellent welcome, comfortable bedroom, with good shower, flat screen TV, nice bedlinen, lovely views. The set evening meal for over 20 of us offered three excellent and well cooked courses. The puddings are just amazing. And naturally they also... More

We chose Furzeleigh Mill Hotel for it's location, convenient for both Dartmoor and the South Coast, and we weren't disappointed. The roo was small but well equiped, and more importantly, spotlessly clean and freashly decorated. The food too was excellent, with a 'scrummy' brekfast that set you up for the day. The evening meals were just as good, and we... More

We managed to grab a few days off toward the end of August and wanted to stay somewhere historic on or very close to Dartmoor. Despite being the middle of the holiday season, there were still one or two places that caught our eye and were available mid week but we opted for the 16th century former corn mill Furzleigh... We stayed for a week and were well spoiled by Ann & Bob and their small but helpful staff. A lovely place on the edge of Dartmoor, our room had a beautiful view over the moor and was spotless, comfortable and well decorated . Excellent food in an olde worlde restaurant. We will definetly be going back there again.
