It was a real treat. We found excellent service - discrete and attentive. The hotel was extremely comfortable throughout. We especially enjoyed being in the bar in front of a roaring fire at the end of a long bike ride and golf. Above all, we loved the attention to detail. more
Having just returned with the family , we couldn't have wished for a more child friendly enviroment having spent 2 nights in one of the wonderful lodges. Our latest visit to Bovey Castle was just as wonderful as the first. The staff are so friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, everyone at Bovey did their utmost to make our stay absolutely perfect. An incredible location, and this hotel has the potential to be one of the best, but just slightly misses the mark - especially for the price. Valet parking your car is fantastic if you drive a Ferrari or Bentley, but when you've popped down in the slightly more fuel efficient mini, you vehicle is parked out of view, and when... more

I arrived with 11 other girls for a hen party and we stayed in two lodges. The lodges are perfect, tastefully decorated, beautful views over the lake and croquet lawn.
