Spent three nights here for New years eve 2009/2010. The group consisted of four toddlers and six adults. The service could not have been better. Both cottages were fantastic with high quality finishes and luxury fittings. The bed and duck down duvet was pure heaven. The high quality standard of accomodation was only matched by the warm welcome by the... more

Self catering holidays can be a minefield and do not often live up to expectations let alone exceed them. The property was clean beyond belief and immaculately furnished. Everything was provided including all the kitchen... more

Congratulations and many thanks to Eleanor and family for making us so welcome. The house was absolutely fabulous, comfy beds, soft fluffy towels, quality furnishings and a generous and delicious welcome basket to top it all. If you are looking for quality, luxury and space then look no further. more

The beds and bedding were top class with goose down duvets (maybe a bit hot for some... more

We have just come back after spending a wonderful October holiday in Devon. After getting a little lost we stumbled upon our destination at Culverhayes. We were absolutley gobsmacked when we arrived to this amazing estate. The owners were so welcoming and kind and made us feel as if we were staying with friends. Our cottage, Spice Cottage, was wonderful.... more

This place is a jewel! Culverhayes is an old mansion on ten beautifully landscaped acres, run by Eleanor Channing and her sister Marlyn. They have two rooms in the mansion that they rent out as bed and breakfast, and two cottages which have recently been created out of the barn and stables. It just couldn't be prettier. We rented a... more
