Pub is tired looking. Menu is basic. Food is not well cooked or presented. Massively overpriced for what they are serving. Was staying at the travelodge between Christmas and New Year and was told about the pub so we gave it a try.. Must say that it was very cosy with a roaring fire and lovely festive decs.. Service and food was excellent only thing was the portions were too big so couldn't manage a pudding... Good for the diet tho..... More

difficult to find the way in from the main road,food not that good and pricey nearly £20 for a steak, would not seek it out when there is a cheaper place to eat just across the road.we went there and had a meal for 2 for less than a £10 inc one sweet.
