Having stayed here before we sort of knew what to expect but we were told all the rooms had been done up. We were staying at The Plume as we were involved with a charity yomp over Dartmoor involving over 250 yompers plus helpers etc.The owners should have been more than prepared for the weekend as we did it last... more

We had... more

The Plume of Feathers has to be one of the worst places I've ever stayed, and for £70 a night for a double room, I really expected better. On arrival we were shown to our room by one of the bar staff. It was a dingy hovel with three single beds, a rickety wardrobe and a sink. To add insult... more

With Prince town situated in the middle of Dartmoor you are a bit stuck if you wanted to stay anywhere else if walking across the moor. The Plume of Feathers Inn is a mid priced Inn and sits in the middle of the town famous for it’s prison. The Inn it’s self looks attractive from the outside but that’s about... more
