We checked out the reviews of New Moorings before booking before our trade show at Westpoint. Most were very positive about the guesthouse. Dave and Michelle greeted us on arrival with the offer of tea or coffee. The two rooms we booked were warm and comfortable with good beds and flat screen TV. The bathrooms were compact but clean and... More

We were booked into this B&B by the organisation we were attending a course for. Always with some apprehension that you arrive somewhere that you haven't checked out yourself! We had a very warm welcome from Dave & Michelle our bag was taken to our room which was cozy and warm. The room was ideal, nothing missing from our point... More

Four of us (two couples) spent two nights at New Moorings whilst attending a nearby wedding. As soon as we arrived we felt welcomed, comfortable and at ease. Although there were four of us, I wouldn't have felt at all awkward if I was the only guest in the place (I would usually feel very uncomfortable in that situation!). I... More

What a warm & welcoming couple, Michelle & Dave. Relaxing, spotless & cosy rooms. Overall experience .... we wished we were able to stay an extra night! Lovely to see that vegetarians are catered for too. Thank you so very much Jacqueline & matt, Carmarthen More

For a budget guest house in Exmouth you couldn't do better than stay at New Moorings. The place is spotless. The breakfasts delicious, and the hosts Michelle and Dave charm personified. You won't have a sea view but you do get to see the people in the hotel opposite all wishing they'd booked in at New Moorings. Highly recommended. More

I stayed here for a couple of nights for a family reunion holiday in August. I picked New Moorings for it's location: I knew it was very close to Exmouth sea front and also the town centre -( my grandparents had lived around the corner). There was a really warm welcome from Michelle and Dave with a cup of tea... More

Me and my husband had been through quite a draumatic few months, going through two misscarriages, all in our first year of marriage,so for our anniversary we decided we needed a break away. After reading some reviews on B & Bs in Exmouth (I'd loved this area of Devon since I was a child!) we decided on New Moorings, and... More

Have just returned for a second year running and have to concur with all the marvellous reviews. Michelle and Dave could not be more accommodating and should you ever find yourself seeking accommodation in Exmouth I could not recommend New Moorings more highly More

Really liked the accommodation for our hastily arranged one night stay. We were at the top of the house and the self-contained bathroom was a trifle small but adequate. It only had a shower which suited my wife and I. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The hosts were more than amenable to your requests and were... More
