We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter weekend and had only booked a table for the first night with the intention of going out on the second night. However, the food and service was so perfect that we booked again for the second night. We were not disappointed. Very high quality and imaginative pub food above and beyond the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Tower Inn for a couple of nights in November this year. We wanted a weekend's walking in beautiful South Devon, but unfortunately chose a foul weekend of weather, with virtually wall-to-wall rain and wind. We arrived on the Friday afternoon and were shown to our room, which is one of three upstairs to... More

Cosy, clean with friendly staff. Food was amazing but worth noting dinner is not available on Sundays. Was the best place we stayed in our tour of Devon and Cornwall. Slapton Village itself is very small with only one other pub. Slapton Sands beach is very nice with no commercial business, just the sand and the sea and if your... More

Had a trip out to the beach with the dog and had dinner here. Excellent meal and great service. Every "dog friendly" place I have been to previously allows dogs in certain areas but this place excelled itself by allowing our dog under the table in the restaurant! The meal was priced on the high side but turned out to... More

Our third stay at the Tower Inn was as good as the first two. The room was nice and comfortable and was serviced every day. We dined in the pub on all three nights and had great food, wine and desserts. The staff were great and the locals very friendly The pub was full every night. For me, the best... More

Having eaten at the tower this evening I feel I simply must write a review, my husband and myself enjoyed a fantastic meal in an unhurried and relaxed atmosphere, we were really looked after by the staff and had a truely wonderful evening, unfortunately this could of been ruined by an incredibly rude couple who felt the need to complain... I have been coming to The Tower for over 30 years and never cease to be amazed by its incredible location. The inside is warm and welcoming and the beers are always first class. The entrance to the garden is slightly tatty but the view of the tower is spectacular. Food quality is very good although portion size is small... More

The Tower Inn is truly a wonderful find. We went away for a treat and a get away from it all short break and have just returned from two nights of pure heaven. The staff are friendly and welcoming without being intrusive, the room (room 2) was compact but nonetheless clean with excellent cotton bed-linen, tea/coffee making facilities and a... More

We bring friends visiting Devon to show off the delights of the area and the Tower is a regular stop. Very good food, charming bar and lovely garden.

Spent one night at The Tower, lovely courtyard location in the middle of very cute village. A warm welcome on arrival, everything explained in friendly manner. Room was compact but clean and bright. Breakfast was great. And all for a bargian price when compared to larger establishments nearby.
