As a solo female visitor I was made to feel extremely welcome and the owner was very helpful assisting with my luggage. The room and facilities were very clean & comfortable with a well stocked drinks tray. Breakfast was perfect with a good choice from the menu. The breakfast room had a lovely atmosphere with an attentive host. The entrance,... More

The owner who checked us in to our third floor double room was very friendly. The room was small but well decorated and had a decent heater which was a must for the cold wet weekend in November when we stayed. The bathroom, which had a shower only, was very compact, but fully functional. The room had good tea, coffee... More

We came here as a surprise anniversary break, it was wonderful! The owners were very warm and welcoming and full of useful local information, not over the top though which was a relief! Kings bridge is beautiful and the surrounding area is very accessible from the hotel. We ate out in kings bridge at the tapas restaurant and the steak... More

This is the second time I have stayed at Ashleigh House and once again I had a really wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable and I had a very good nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent and I would totally recommend this B&B. More

After reading positive rewiews on Tripadvisor, my wife and I booked a two-night stay at Ashleigh House. When we arrived we were shown to room 5, a rather small double room on the top floor. At 3 a.m. on the first night we wondered if we would get any sleep, as this was the most uncomfortable mattress we have tried... More

We were visiting this area of Devon for the first time and did not know what to expect. On arrival the lady was so warm and friendly. We were shown to our room which was comfy, spacious and clean. The couple who run this B&B could not have been more helpful in assisting us with any information we required be... More

We were visiting the town for a friends wedding and they provided us with a list of local accommodation, after scanning through the list we came across the website for this guesthouse and on first sight were very impressed by this alone and even more impressed when we saw the reasonable rates. we booked in to stay for 3 nights... My boyfriend and I recently had a 3 night break at Ashleigh House and would highly recommend it as a lovely base for exploring the local area! We're both in our early 20s and always look for modern accomodation-Ashleigh House had clearly undergone an extensive rennovation and our room (on the top floor) was light and contemporary and very comfortable.... We enjoyed our stay. The guest house has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and every guest gets a warm welcome. The rooms are comfortable with modern facilities and there is a delicious breakfast. The centre of Kingsbridge is walking distance with good restaurants. There are also lots of places to visit further afield by boat, bus or car. More

Nice, relaxing atmosphere and made to feel very welcome for our recent 2 night stay. Clean and tidy and all you need for a short stay. Town centre just a short walk away with a few choices of pubs and resturants. Would definatley stay here again. More
