Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Next year will be our 11th year. As a family we come year after year and can’t see this ever changing. Love it, everything about it, except for the fresh croissants which I think have made my waist line a little larger!

We had a lovely stay at Karrageen Caravan and Camping Park. The pitches were spacious and the site was well-designed. The facilities were very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The freshly baked croissants and bread and the pizza van were also very welcome! We enjoyed the walk to the beach each day (about 25 minutes with children); it is a very beautiful place!

Booked 6 nights at this campsite on the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. We had a tent pitch with electric hook up and also a tap, which luckily for us was right next to our pitch. it was our first time camping so don’t have anything to compare it to - but we found it very peaceful and the pitches were well spread out with good privacy from the numerous hedges around each ‘terrace’. Showers were fine, you need a stash of 20p’s to use them - 40p was enough for a 4 min shower, I imagine the shop would be happy to give you change if you needed it. Plenty of toilets, always had loo roll and hand wash, no complaints there. A very handy on-site shop which sold all the essentials plus you could order from a selection of fresh bakery items the night before to collect for breakfast the next day - they were all delicious, the pain au raisin particularly lovely! Hope Cove being the nearest beach is a good 25 min walk down single track lanes and across a field - quite steep but a very pleasant walk. Quite a few places to eat and drink in Hope Cove, we did walk back in the dark one night, you probably wouldn’t want to do it with small children! Overall we had a really nice week, the weather put bit of a dampener on it, but that is obviously not down to the campsite! The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always around to help if needed. I would stay here again

3rd summer at Karageen and not disappointed. We love the charm of Hope Cove and have been coming for years. Tom and the team keep the site and facilities clean and tidy, well organised, and have a great little shop with essentials (including freshly baked bread and croissants to order in the morning) . We are always remembered and made to feel welcome. Love it!

First time away without our children for 10 years and it was eveything we had hoped for and more.. We were on site off season so it was all very chilled, peaceful and calm. Excellent toilets, showers and washing up facilities, lovely little on-site shop, helfpful friendly owners and a 20 min walk down to Hope Cove. I mean, what's not to love! We will definately be back, with children and other family memebers next summer. We just hope it's as wonderful as it was this year. Also, all the other campers we met during our stay were fabulous so an all round great stay and would highly recmmend. Thank you.
