Have Stayed at the Lodge previously. Has been under new management for 12 months.
Very clean and comfortable room. Full breakfast not included in room price £5.95 extra but was made aware when booking room. We chose a twin bedded room at front of building. Roomy and very comfortable beds. Very clean throughout.
We were warned that a party was taking place in the conservatory in the evening of our 1st night. The group playing at the evening event in the village hall was staying the night. We were invited but we were too tired to attend. We were told that it was a very lively party but we never heard a thing.
The location of the hotel makes it essential to have a car. Salcome is about 3 miles and Kingsbridge about 4 miles. The car park is small but this was not a problem as hotel only had us and another couple as guests. Could be a problem if hotel is full.
