We have stayed many times at the wonderful Tinhay Mill, its like a home from home for us. We always receive such a warm, friendly welcome. The accomodation is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The food is truly delicious - Margaret uses only fresh local produce and everything is homemade. I have a food allergy and need a restricted diet... more

We chose Tinhay Mill for an off-peak weekend away in Devon and were delighted both with the accommodation and the food. We arrived on a Friday evening and were treated to a superb dinner of perfectly cooked and presented food of the highest quality. The room had the character of he old mill house with all the amenities of a... more

Where do I start?! What a fabulous stay we had at Tinhay - Margaret and Paul are so welcoming and so friendly, the food was incredible, comfy & clean room, service was first class throughout our whole stay. I cannot say enough good things about our stay - would highly recommend it for business, weekend away or a longer stay... more

We had a family meal here to celebrate a special occassion, and could not have picked a better place. Margaret was incredibly helpful during the booking process, and discussed menu options with us for the event. We booked the whole restaurant for the meal, and most of the rooms after. The service could not be faulted, the food was amazing,... more

We were a party of four attending a motor sport event in the area and from the moment we made our booking arrangements, through to the greeting on arrival and request for an early breakfast, required next morning, nothing..., yes nothing was too much trouble. Their accommodation was homely, hospitality generous and their menu absolutely delicious. And what friendly service.... more

I took my girlfriend there for a birthday meal and it was excellant. We couldn't fault a thing, the owners were very friendly and welcoming and the waitresses were charming, we've never been "crumbed down" before! The meal was first class cooked to perfection. We had Cream of Mushroom Soup for starters which was superb. My girldriend didn't think she... more

The rooms are very comfortable B&B standard - very clean, with character & are really good value. Small showers. The welcome is first-class & the dinners (cooked by the owner chef) are outstanding. The best breakfasts we have ever had, all individually cooked. Our German guests were v. impressed. Highly recommended. Nigel & Carol Grist more

My husband was on business in the area and the company he was visiting booked us into Tinhay Mill and I must say we were very impressed. Margaret was very welcoming and very helpful in suggesting things for me to do while my husband was at the meeting. We didn't have the opportunity to have dinner but we did have... more

The food here is superb and well worth a visit in itself! The owners, Margaret and Paul, are extremely welcoming and the accommodation is very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Tinhay again and if I couldn't stay I'd drop in for Margaret's cooking alone! more
