We (family of four plus dog) chose this camp site from website and reviews as it was in an area of Devon we knew and loved. This campsite was everything we wanted. Fantastic views, amazing choice of places to pitch, very clean shower and toilet block with plenty of hot water. The campsite shop stocked everything we needed and the... More

While the weather let us down the camp couldn't have been better. Fantastic location, out of the way with spectacular scenery. Plenty of great coastal walks and a very well stocked shop. Family run with a focus on quality and returning customers. Very clean and tidy and well set out with good facilities. Village is an easy walk and provides... More

My Fiance and I love North Morte Camping, we stayed here a while ago and it is always the first place we look to when we want peaceful camping with stunning views. The pitches may not be the most even, and dont expect on site night clubs and the like, (if you after 'that' type of Chavvy camping, go to... More

The facilities are well kept, clean the camp site is right next to the coast path, on rolling hills. There is plenty of space and the tents are usually set more than 4 metres apart. The atmosphere is good, calm and respectful with party goers and groups unwelcome. I've not done much camping but would recommend this location and setting.... More

Arrived after an impromptu decision to have a weekend away, and decided on this place as it looked idyllic! We liked the position and the fact that there are no set pitches...! Arrived in the evening and by the time we set up it was pitch black, however found a spot that seemed lovely right on the cliff overlooking the... More

We have been here for the last few years whilst novice campers. This is by far our favourite location and whilst basic has everything we want and need. I like the rough nature of just finding a spot and putting up your tent, sitting back with a beer and watching the sea. No regulation, marked out pitches and strict rules.... More

We have been twice this year for short breaks to this site. Its a wonderful place. We love that we can pitch anywhere we like and that there's a sea view from any area. Its quiet and relaxing, the camp shop not very big but has all basic stuffs with friendly staff. There a couple of mobile vans that visit... More

We've stayed here several times. We have a campervan and awning and find the site reasonable, quiet and well placed for walking, surfing and pubs. The site is quite undulating and some bits are on a proper hill but we've always managed to find a fairly level spot. There's always a view of the sea and the sunsets. The loo... More

This campsite is very well maintained and has lovely views. I Would recommend it to anyone. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and modern. Nearby Woolacombe is beautiful with a great beach. We recommend the pancake house in Woolacombe which does great gluten-free pancakes.

It's hard for me to review this campsiteas it's far and away my favourite site. UKCS reviews are meant to be objective, but how can you be objective about a place you simply love? So I've put off reviewing it, but I haven't been for a few months and there isn't a free weekend in sight (and I've had a... More
