We had a wonderful weekend staying at Nichols Nymet House. We were lucky enough to be there during a full moon, and the illuminated scenery was breathtaking. The views are gorgeous - fields with Dartmoor in the distance. The hosts were very friendly and kind, and as Nichols Nymet is their home it has a lovely welcoming feel to it.... more

I stayed at this place, as part of my leg for the cycle trip from John O'Groats to Land's End. The place is in effect a Manor / very large country estate just past Crediton and not too far away from the A30. It is not very well advertised, partly because the owners are a nice down to earth couple... more
