We booked two nights here as we were travelling round Devon and Cornwall, but wished we had booked longer. We arrived mid afternoon and were greated by Neil, the owner and served with a cream tea, we later met Bev, his wife and joint owner.
We chose to sit outside in the sun and were immediatley struck by the peace and quiet which was only disturbed by the birds singing.
By the time we had finished, our bags had been taken to our room, which was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated.
We had booked on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis which was very reasonable. The menu was different each evening and the choice was very good, the meal consisted of three courses and there was a good wine list which was reasonably priced. The food was cooked by Neil and was superb both evenings we were there.
