xx Acorns was recommended to me by some friends who had stayed earlier in the year. Their description of the place sounded too good to be true! I therefore had to find out for myself if indeed it was as good as they said it was. I booked in for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend. The weather was... more

This was our 3rd visit and they get better every time. Andy and Kathy were their usual happy selves and as always offered a lovely warm welcome and friendly hospitality. The site has come on leaps and bounds thanks to the hard work put in by Andy and Kathy to make sure your visit is as enjoyable as possible. The... more

I was travelling alone, but everyone was so friendly that I did not feel alone. Andy and Kathy were welcoming. I originally booked for three nights, but extended my stay to five. I booked in for the evening meal on occasions. This was excellent home-cooked food in pleasant company. The surroundings are beautiful and you can walk in the adjoining... more

This was are first time at trying this. Everyone was so nice. The site was clean and tidy and at £10. a head for campsite it was great value. Even the pool table was free. It took a while and a few drinks for us to put the books resting on our laps down and get up and try the... more

Took a short break with own caravan to this site. A lot of investment obviously made over a couple of years, which is paying off. You could not find a more relaxing quiet position if you tried. I spent most of time completely nude even though weather conditions pretty poor to say the least, no-one batted an eyelid. Yes the... more

I had picked up a brochure from Andy at Nudefest 2007 and decided to try it out when I needed a break in 2008. It was early in the season and I had the place to myself. Sitting in the jacuzzi listening to the birds singing was bliss. In fact I was also trying it out to see if it... more

I stayed for two nights in April as a bed and breakfast guest and was taken care of superbly. The house is well heated so wandering around in the buff was no problem, and the out of doors jacuzzi and sauna was a real touch of luxury. The food was excellent - especially the full English breakfast - you won't... more

We visited Acorns for the 3rd time, the first two stays were very enjoyable and the hosts Katy and Andy friendly. So you can imagin our surprise when we arrived last weekend without booking a pitch to be reprimaned by Andy for not phoning ahead. Although the weekend before we had told him we would be returning if the weather... more
