Bit dated and tatty in places but food good and beer top notch. Nice family friendly atmosphere too. Very busy but didnt wait long for food, carvery was lovely. Generous tooi! Locals seemed friendly too.

Tired, depressing, average food, poor service. Wouldn't even entertain the idea of going back - give it a miss.

Wow what a great place we decided to have a weekend away chose Woolacombe and found this place to stay accomodation great, food excellent carvery to die for ...and Bob the host was wonderful made us feel very welcome...locals all made us feel at home will definately go back for another break.....Well worth it..roll on September :O)

am sure there are better value carvery's in the area, however it offered your basic selection of meats. The vegetables were plentiful, but a bit tasteless. Overall a filling carvery but certainly not as good as expected.
