A really nice hotel and good value for money - lovely modern but tasteful rooms, excellent restaurant and very friendly staff - very well located for the beach and more excellent restaurants close by, what more could you ask for on a weekend away. I would definitely go again.

Lovely "olde worlde" main house and interior, but very "newe worlde" prices! Our room was in the coachhouse and no better quality than a £60 travel lodge room,no extractor fan in musty smelling bathroom, great bed/bedding though. We were on the groundfloor and could hear every footprint and child scream from room above as though they were on our ceiling,no soundproofing whatsoever methinks?... Very clean and comfortable rooms. Cosy bar area. Family friendly. Exceptional, lovely food: All of it was wonderful and I would recommend the snails for breakfast. The staff were friendly and professional. Go there, you'll love it!

We stayed in the main hotel - the car park entrance is narrow ,so watch out for any one leaving-you don't want to wipe the smiles off their faces ! Efficient friendly service is a key feature of the hotel, bar and restaurant. Lovely large room ,tastful furnishings, great claw bath and dinner plate size shower. Waffle dressing gowns and molton... We stayed here for three nights and it really would be very hard to criticise anything. The room was lovely, with a really comfortable kingsize bed and high thread-count linen, vast towels and such attention to detail that there was even a towel especially for the dog after wet walks! Perhaps the room was a little dark, and the bedside... More

We had booked for April but due to family illness could not make the date on the actual morning but no problem with the reception staff ( Patrick) delayed our visit for 6 weeks . Reception wonderful, excellent room, food fabulous ( ought to have more AA rosettes, ought to have a Michelin Star). everyone helpful. We shall book again... More

We met up with friends for lunch and were greeted by helpful staff. Our table was in the conservatory and had a view of the garden . Starters of smoked salmon and crayfish were first class ,bread was served to us by the chef . Cod and chunky chips were very good as the two men who ordered the dishes... More

This was our first stay as a Family at Bridge House, but it certainly won't be our last! The Hotel is beautifully appointed and has a comfort standard well above average. Someone has a terrific eye for style (Colour scheme, furniture, very comfortable and stylish rooms with wonderful beds and linen) Even the Garden was well tended. But here's nothing... More

We stayed at this charming small hotel on a rather wet cold May weekend. We were very pleasantly surprised at the standard of welcome and comfort. The rooms are simple but very well done, lovely comfortable beds, nice linen and our bathroom was very well appointed. One of the real joys is the delightful food served on a cold night... More
