The room we had was very spacious and well furnished. the beds were also very comfortable. Our window overlooked the beach which was nice. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. Nice atmospheric pub lounge. Would definately stay here again more

Staff were very friendly, food OK, very clean. The "superior" room was upstairs with the bathroom and a single room below, decor a bit gloomy. Pleasant views from the room to the beach. Had problems with the hot water which suddenly went cold halfway through a shower, and the next day only enough to fill a bath a third full.... more

we arrived in west bay and were pleased to find the bridport arms hotel right on the beach overlooking the harbour. we were greeted by the owner who was really nice and friendly and given a gorgeous room with a 4 poster bed and a huge bathroom. It was all spotlessly clean and comfortable. lots of teas,coffees and even snacks.... more

just returned from a 'birthday' weekend in West bay. Have stayed at many hotels in the same price range, but have never been so well looked after. Our room was lovely, as were the staff, and the food, and the service. A truly great hotel, we'll be back!!! more

I always like to leave a comment on Tripadvisor but I'm finding this one quite difficult to write. This is mainly because the 'hotel' wasn't really a 'hotel' but a pub with rooms and this is why the Bridport Arms didn't really work for me.
