We really enjoyed our stay, the room was lovely and bright, really comfortable bed, table and chairs, large TV, great choice of teas and a delicious room served breakfast. The owners John and Carol are very friendly and welcoming, and it was the perfect place to finish our holiday in the south west. We would definitely stay there again!

We were greeted with tea, fresh filter coffee and very posh biscuits upon arrival which was a lovely welcome. We had the first of the 3 rooms available and it was spotlessly clean, modern and airy. We loved it as soon as we walked in. It was so nice to be able to open the patio doors and we sat... More

My partner and I wanted to find a place to get away from the pressures of city and family life, and decided to come down to Dorset and spend a couple of days seeing if the county was as we remembered it when we were children. Coming down for those wonderful two weeks in the Summer Holidays. We however only... More

Having arrived travel weary (and later than anticipated), it was so nice to be greeted by Carol, bearing mince pies and mulled wine and a friendly smile. Not only that, we were then pleasantly surprised to find out we'd have breakfast brought to our room! I went for the full English, my wife (sensible) the continental. Apparently they also cater... A couple we met on Eype Beach recommended this B&B and so we had high hopes. We were very disappointed to find limited parking (getting out once parked up was extremely difficult), no warm welcome with tea and organic biscuits, a cramped room with very limited storage space and a communal terrace. The room was so small that only one... More

We were greeted by Carol who offered us a welcome pot of tea with delicious organic biscuits. Despite lashings of rain on Friday & Saturday, we enjoyed our weekend here. The room was quirky, a mixture of styles but somehow all melded together to create a cosy & warm atmosphere (radiators could be turned on full blast to dry yourselves... More

This lovely B&B is welcoming, clean and provides superb breakfasts. Good facilities, comfy bed and the rooms are nicely decorated. AND room service for breakfast - what more could you ask for? Although unusual for B&Bs, breakfast is served to your room at a small table and, on a lovely day, you can sit with the french doors open, hear... More

Arrived to a lovely warm welcome from Carol. The room was large with a dining area and although small the shower room was fab. The bed was large and comfortable, every where was spotless. Flat screen TV on the wall was a bonus along with the hospitality tray. Breakfast in the morning was a feast and even better as we... More

Tucked away in a peaceful residential area Heatherbell is ideal for a few days rest and relaxation. Carol's breakfast is excellent and there is a feeling of peacefulness without isolation. The rooms are well presented and the beds comfortable. The decking area has room for sitting outside but if you want space the beach is a short walk away. Welcoming... More

We stayed here for 2 nights en route to Cornwall. The b&b is really lovely - breakfast is served to your room at whatever time you like. And what a breakfast!! So much choice on the trolley - you really don't need anything else until evening! Rooms very comfortable with a very large flat screen tv on the wall. The... More
