We visited the Haddon with a large party for a Christmas meal. Well what can I say! The whole experience was amazing. The staff are very polite and attentive and well organised. The food was out of this world, lots of choice and every thing was hot and full of flavour. Would recommend this hotel very highly and can't wait... more

There is a reason a hotel doesn't put pictures of its rooms on its website and thats becasue the rooms are awful...case in point Haddon House Hotel. I booked two nights at this hotel with my partner and as soon as we opened the door to the room we knew we wouldn't be staying both nights. The room was tired... more

We had booked 2 nights, we stayed one paid for 2. Why? Because when you book in the form they ask you to complete and sign, as is normal in many places, has a sentence added that is not the normal, it says 'No refunds can be given for any accomodation or meals booked and not taken'. So another £85... more

My Husband and i stayed at Haddon House again this year as a last minute thing really. When we arrived we were greeted by a gorgeous retriever which really made us feel at home. Check in was fast efficient and the young man helped us with taking our luggage directly to the room and pointing out the restaurant and bar... more

Comfortable room (number 5) , very light and airy. Good sized bathroom with bath and shower over. Food excellent with a wide choice, including a very good fish menu. A good and well priced wine selection, but the beer choice perhaps a little disappointing. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. more

Service: Relaxed, efficient and friendly. The Hotel was busy with both residents and non residents dining, functions and private dinners. There appeared no hierarchy amongst the staff, they all worked happily and well together - apparently effortless but obviously well planned and well executed - you could not achieve that level of enjoyment for both staff and guests otherwise. Room:... more

A nicely situated, traditional hotel. We found it comfortable and exceptionally clean with very pleasant and polite staff, bar and restuarant service excellent. Some might find it a bit dated, but we found that a nice change from more modern hotels where you can be just a `room number` rather than a guest. As guests, we were made very welcome,... more

We stayed for only one night at this splendid hotel whilst passing through Dorset. The staff were very friendly, we were shown to a large, comfortable room with good facilities. The meal that evening was fabulous and the breakfast equally so, nicely served with masses of fresh fruit available. more

This a lovely old hotel with period charm gave us a warm welcome and had a homely feel. It is in a great quiet location just a short stroll to the busy harbour. Our room was comfortable and had all we needed apart from a couple of firm chairs to sit on. The restaurant had a vast menu plus special... more
