Look no further, Heather & George make you feel like you are going to your second home even before you arrive. They are so welcoming and professional, from the initial inquiry to the final goodbye. Nothing is too much trouble from their unforgetable hot and cold breakfast choices with home made fruit salad with seasonal extras from their own green... More

George and Heather's hospitality and friendliness knows no bounds. Beautiful home, spotless amenities, fantastic value, tasty food, perfectly located. Even prior to our arrival they were helping us find our way around Ballymena. This place has genuinely no negatives. Northern Ireland is a pretty small place so you really shouldn't stay anywhere else. More

Arrived outside in desperation after an aborted stay at the Beechfield. We, along with another couple here for a wedding were made to feel perfectly at home with these genuine lovely people. Not only did George drive us to the reception, but they gave us some homemade scones before we left, advising us that "it's always longer than you think... More

George & Heather could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is roomy, high quality, well appointed and relaxing ... a real "home from home". Together with their excellent Parklodge self -catering property this proved a wonderful base for our daughter's wedding. Thank-you, George & Heather, for all the little extras and a real Irish welcome. Peter &... More

Our week's stay was like being at home with family. George and Heather Barr, the proprietors were born and raised in the Ballymena area and were able to direct us to points of interest with both skill and detailed explanations. There really are fascinating locales in the northeast corner of Ireland and we will surely return for another visit. Of... More

Echo all the other good comments here. Very kind and hospitable hosts and excellent accommodation. Great breakfast with home-made jam, porridge and full cooked breakfast. The best fruit salad we have ever had in a hotel/B&B. We had the family room which was more like a small apartment with a door separating single from large double. Ensuite with fridge and... More

We stayed in Pinegove lodge for three nights and it was absolutely wonderful. George and Heather are great people who are able to let you feel more than welcome. They had good tips for what to explore and see. Ballymena is a very good starting point for visiting the coast. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was very... More

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding at nearby Tullyglass Hotel; the taxi fare after the Wedding was five pounds Our host and hostess made us very welcome, and the breakfasts were particularly good We can thoroughly recommend this bed and breakfast More

Stayed here for one night. Was the only guest that night and was made very welcome. Attractive room - not en-suite but was not an issue as I was the only person staying that night and so the bathroom was for my sole use. Great breakfast. More
