It was a joy to discover this elegant, stylish and supremely comfortable country house B&B on a cold, wet November night after a long tiring day. The minute I was shown into the double room I knew instantly this was the room for me! The room was warm, glowing with the bedside lights already switched on, smelt fresh (the house is totally non-smoking) and never did a double bed with fine linen sheets and lots of large pillows look so inviting with the promise of a good nights sleep!

Between two small sitting chairs stood a low table with a tea and coffee tray with smart china, linen napkin, biscuits and, best of all, proper fresh milk. The remote control television was cleverly hidden in the upper part of the wardrobe which contained plenty of hangers together with an iron and ironing board.
