We stayed in Dungiven Castle last weekend (Valentines weekend) and had an absolute ball! The hotel itself is small and intimate but with gorgeous, spacious, tastefully decorated rooms overlooking the mountains and beautiful gardens. We stayed at the castle whilst doing an archaeological survey around Dungiven. The staff were friendly, professional and very pleasant and efficient. Rooms were fantastic and the food was excellant. Overall this has been the best place I have had the pleasure to stay in! Matt more

The castle is only about 1 hours drive from the airport which made our full journey from essex to the castle only 4 hours (you cant get to cornwall for that). My husband, two friends & I stayed in Dungiven Castle in August. We were not disappointed. Beautiful old building, friendly staff and great hospitality from the female owner made our stay at the castle very enjoyable. Meal in restaurant was also excellent. Would recommend to friends. more

We held a wedding dinner for 8 people here, and then stayed the night in the bridal suite. The meals were perfect, the proprietors made us feel like family, the room was beyond description, and the views were incredible. All this at a bargain price.
