We spent 2 nights at this lovely B & B and had the place to ourselves:) This meant we had the sitting room with real fire which our Grandson Archie Loved. Paul and Mabel could not do enough for us and Archie loved them. We took our little yorkie with us as well, the rooms are large and comfortable with... More

Paul and Mabel extended a warm Scottish welcome to us. Their cottage is warm, cosy and relaxed. We were attending a BUGS dinner at the lovely Ross Priory and chose to stay at Ardoch as the nearest B&B because Ross Priory rooms were all booked. On arrival, Paul greeted us and we were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely contemporary... More

My husband and I spent two nights at ARDOCH cottage while on a two-week trip to Scotland. It was one of the great highlights of our trip. The room was comfortable and clean, with the firm beds that we had specifically requested. Mabel's breakfasts were outstanding, made with fresh seasonal local produce. Paul and Mabel could not do enough for... More

We booked Ardoch house for exploring loch lomond, we were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived, we travelled on motorbikes with our friends to explore the area, Paul was so helpful with routes to try, and Mabel helped us out with booking a meal in the pub a few miles from Gartocharn, the accommodation is beautifully... Communication with Mabel and Paul has been brilliant since we booked, we paid a deposit and rest when we got there. Both could not do enough for you, full of friendly advice and pointers where to go. We stayed for a wedding and it was perfectly located to the Ross Priory. A beautiful setting. The room was spacious with a... More

This review is very late, but they weren't listed on tripadvisor when we last stayed there. My husband and I first stayed at Ardoch Cottage in 2001. We'd intended to stay one night en route for Inverness. However, my husband was unwell and so we delayed our departure to stay another night. Mabel and Paul couldn't do enough to help... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights as we were going to a wedding in the nearby Ross Priory, this is as close as you can get without staying at the priory. Really excellent homely welcome, breakfast was fantastic, room was lovely, would recommend to anyone.

(A bit late with this review!) We stopped here for one night in April on our way from Cumbria to Cannich and it was very well located as a stopover. The house is cosy and beautifully decorated and Paul and Mabel gave us a warm welcome, even though it was well after 9pm when we arrived. Rooms were comfy and... More

Ardoch Cottage is warm and inviting -we enjoyed the evening fires in the lounge. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We stayed at Ardoch Cottage as we were attending a wedding nearby. The Cottage is lovely; well-decorated, cosy yet spacious and has everything you need - including a lovely open fire! The owners are very hospitable - serving up a good breakfast and helped us out with finding a taxi when several inches of snow tried to hinder our getting... More
