We arrived late Thursday night after travelling from Norfolk for the British Supermoto Championship. We were shown to what the friendly lady told us was the family room. Well words fail me, my husband was under the impression that the room was costing us £70 for three nights even at this price it was £70 too much, The room was dirty, old and scruffy, after lifting the 1970's faded floral nylon bedspread you could see every bed spring in the matress as for the pillows well they must have been twenty years old. the sheets had holes in them and there were hairs in the bed. I refused to use the bathroom instead prefering to use the showers in the toilet block at the racing track. We stayed the night keeping all our clothes on and booked out the next day only to be told that the room was £70 per night. If the owners spent a few hundred pounds on each room they would have a lovely hotel because of its location. more
