We were taking the b/f's dad for lunch, he wanted to go to Fife! So off we went to Anstruther. Decided to go to the Waterfront, which was the best idea! Lunch was lovely, the mackerel pate is to die for as were the homemade oatcakes. Great portion sizes and very reasonably priced also. Would definitely recommend eating here. Only... More

We visited this restaurant last week. We have never used the hotel facilities, although the whole place had an air of being very well looked after. It was a spur of the moment meal out - I ate there a few years ago, and remembered it being excellent. We weren't disappointed. NOTHING could have been better - the setting, the... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but we would gladly have stayed more. Huge king size bed, quiet rooms and extremely helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and amazing seaside views! Would not hesitate to recommend to family or friends.

We stayed just one night and found room clean with huge king size bed. The welcome on arrival was friendly and efficient. Dinner was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and nicely served. Anstruther was very busy (saturday) and it was difficult to find a parking space. Had to park a distance away then get car... More

My husband and I have just spent two nights here. The staff are so nice and helpful and the quaintness of the accommodation tucked away at the back in courtyard is great. The breakfast is super and the room itself - no complaints. However, a big complaint (and only one) is the noise factor in the downstairs' room. The floorboards/doors... More

The accommodation in the Bakery was very comfortable and quiet tucked away behind the street in a lovely garden. We enjoyed the fish and chips in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive.

My husband and I enjoyed a mid-week break on an "Itison Deal" (which was outstanding value) at this wee gem of a hotel. Our Room (No 7) was a large family room which had a huge kingsize bed, a large flat screen TV and loads of storage space. There was also another family area consisting of a two seater setee,... More
