At first view ones reaction is that this is some old turn of the century hotel locked in a time warp. Upon going through the doors one mellows. Staff are good, helpful and friendly. Dining room - especially the daily fish specials - very good. Rooms good and spacious. No lift so avoid third floor if mobility is an issue. more

Just had an excellent relaxing break here. The staff were all very helpful and efficient and the room was very comfortable with brilliant views from the large balcony. Can't praise the experience enough . Meals in the Coachman's restuarant were excellent . more
