We stayed on the Isle of Arran for one night only, but will be back again and would stay here again in a heart beat. Allandale is a typical guest house rather than small B&B but is an excellent example of it's type - comfortable and spotlessly clean but breakfast a little crowded and impersonal. Perhaps we were a little unfortunate to have rooms in the annex and therefore had little chance to make use of the resident's lounge. The location is perfect for walking... more
Allandale House is a beautiful guesthouse on the Isle of Arran. We have stayed there a few times and will definitely go there again soon. Allandale is on walking distance from Brodick and the ferry terminal, but on a very quiet spot on a green hill with beautiful views. We spent 3 nights in this lovely Bed & Breakfast in Arran, in August. Although the weather was not great (it rained every day!) it did not spoil our stay.
