mrs sheila is absolutly wonderful, our room couldn't be better and clean!!
breakfast solarge we had not to eat lunchtime....
in a wonderful place and with sheila's help we had superb diners in a nearby restaurant!!
if you go to orkneys don't miss this BB!!!!!!

If we are ever in Orkney again (and I hope to be!), I am absolutely staying at Kenila.
My husband (fiance at the time) booked our stay through the Kenila website. The owners replied right away to our inquiries made through their website and we had no troubles booking this way.
We were greeted warmly by Shelia, who is SO lovely!!! She made us feel right at home and fielded all of our questions about the sights of Orkney. (she had great recommendations btw!).
I believe Kenila was built specifically to be a B&B. The guest accomodations are all upstairs, as is a very nice sitting area (stocked with teas, biscuits, etc..; magazines, newspapers, and other distractions) and the dining area. Rooms are well furnished, comfortable, and VERY clean! Oh and if you have children, you are in luck. Kenila has nice yards and even a play set (slide, swing, that sort of thing)
Fabulous breakfast! Delicious full breakfast, huge servings of fresh fruit...
