I stayed for 3 nights on business, and was well looked after. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My double room had a lovely view out to the sea and Mainland Orkney. The bed was very comfortable and all amenities were provided. The room is not ensuite, but the bathroom is a mere few steps away across the hall.... More

The proprietress was very welcoming, efficient, helpful, and not intrusive (she really runs the place: bar, meals & management). We had a perfect lunch of soup and sandwiches at the Taversoe Hotel. The menu has great options, the food was freshly made, and the view from the restaurant was fantastic.

Just back from Rousay. An absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommend a visit and to stay at Taversoe Hotel where the food was tremendous, views out of this world and exceptionally comfortable accomodation. Great!

The food was awful. It seemed to have all been prepared using a microwave. Only plain foods like "fish and chips" or "chicken with bbq sauce on top" were served. Only stayed one night, great homecooked food, nice hostess, comfortable room, Instead of a day trip to Rousay make a night of it and stay here.
