We nearly didin't get to stay at this wonderful B&B as we had initially booked elsewhere. However a last minute glitch with the previous booking found us being referred on to Hilton Lodge. How lucky were we?!!!
A warm welcome awaited us at this lovely modern house that feels so very welcoming as soon as you walk in. Elizabeth, our hostess, kindly settled us in with a lovely tray of tea and home made scones.
Our rooms were extremely comfortable. Beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of little extra touches and lovely art work.
Beds were really comfy with very high quality bedding and pillows.
The en suite bathrooms were immaculate wih mini toiletries provided
Breakfast. What a feast. Cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit salad, 3 types of fruit juice and smoked salmon all to start with, followed by an exemplary full Scottish cooked breakfast.
