We stayed at the Newton Lodge during a 3 week tour of the Highlands and Islands. On our arrival at Ullapool after a week on the Outer Hebrides we headed north with no where booked. The lodge is in an isolated position about a mile south of the hamlet of Kylesku, overlooking Loch Glencoul with the interesting geological feature of the Glencoul Fault clearly visible.
