The pool was closed, so after 4 days we were advised we could go to another hotel and use theirs. It is a 30 minute drive. They took a deposit, then charged full price and have yet to refund the deposit. The bikes had been put a way so we had to hire our own. hygiene lacking in all rooms... more
Failed to refund cancellation necessitated by the inefficiency of the hotel. Have correspondence confirming that the refund is in process and nearly a month latter still waiting - Don’t go near it. more
This is such a shame as we provide award winning services for families. The hotel does not give refunds to guests that cancel a day before they arrive. We instead offer a vocuher system. What a wonderful hotel, its really is jewel in the Highlands of Scotland, great food, cosy and really welcoming staff. The playroom is clean and the children just love it. We are from Sweden and we would love to go back next year. recommended. more

My husband and I were sitting and chatting about our past holidays one of which was at the Polmaily hotel in Scotland. The situation combined with the atmosphere and friendly staff left a long lasting good impression on both of us. We spent 2 nights at the hotel in one of its garden family rooms, when we first arrived in Scotland for a 2 week tour of the UK. On this occassion we are very sorry that the pool was not in service. The pool is now in service and we should have managed our web site at this time. However, we do provide another pool nearby if our pool is not working and on this occassion the new member of staff did not let this guest know about...
On our way to Loch Ness we discoverd Polmaily Hotel. Very charming hotel with close location to both Loch Ness and the wonderful nature of Divach falls . We will also praise the good service we that we experienced. more
