The guest house is set in excellent walking country, is clean and modern. It is approached by a very long un-made drive which one of the two local restaurants offering a pick-up service refuses to venture up. (It is worth noting that the other restaurant offering this service would not pick-up after 18.30.) The drive is perhaps better suited to a more rugged vehicle than the average family saloon. The rooms were attractively decorated and furnished but the triple room was rather cramped. I found the sign informing guests that stolen towels will be charged to their credit card offensive - I do not steal towels and never have done. On one day of our stay the beds in one room were not made - I assume there were staff problems and regard it as a minor irritation. Overall there was a lack of warmth and welcoming atmosphere. We will not be back.
