We arrived in Fort Augustus at 8pm with no reservation anywhere as we were supposed to be camping (wind too strong). The staff at the hostel were very helpful and gave us a private twin room which cost £40 all in. Rooms clean and comfy and the kitchen facilities were the best ive ever seen in a hostel. Breakfast cereal and toast provided along with coffee and tea, decaf or regular. Internet access also.

Location ideal with 5 minute walk in to the town for the pubs and restaurants.
The only reason i havn't given the rooms top grading, is because the heating was up seriously high which caused a slightly restless night. But hey, temperature of rooms is a personal preference
