We all stayed in greylag lodge with its own hottub with views of the hills and mountains the area is so peacefully set with only the gentle sound of the river below and we had such amazing weather for the day of our stay no rain or snow just cold sunny days the staff greated us just after we arrived... 4 of us travelled up from Edinburgh to stay from the 30 Dec to 2 Jan to have a peaceful and relaxing New Year. We stayed in the Rowan Lodge and upon arrival we entered reception and were met by the lovely staff of Wildside Lodges and were shown to our lodge and all parts of the lodge and site... More

We had a nice time... But the problems started after we left. I received a letter in the post saying that my £50 deposit would not be refunded as the owners had noticed a crack in one of the headrests in the hot tub following our departure. We had noticed this crack, but had not reported it to the owners... More

The hot tubs are cleaned and checked after every guest. As such any prior damage to the hot tub would have been seen and rectified immediately. The deposit was retained as on your departure we found that a head rest had been snapped in half - clearly not due to wear and tear. It is unfortunate that you have felt... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in Greylag Lodge at Wildside Lodges in Whitebridge, Scotland in November 2011 for 4 nights. We were looking for a relaxing break away from the city life of Leeds and from the distractions of the digital world....Wildside was perfect. Situated in the middle of nowhere, 10 miles from the nearest village it really gets you... More

We have just returned from an excellent week at Wildside Lodges. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Ptarmigan Lodge which was superb. The setting is lovely, with the river running past and lots of birds visiting to feed. On arrival we found the lodge to be warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. There was some nice touches to welcome you and... More

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary at the Wildside Lodges. The lodge was really clean and well presented. The location was perfect for us - we really enjoyed the walk to Foyers Falls. The owners were really friendly and very helpful. The log fire was great! More

My husband and I stayed in Greylag lodge, which has 2 bedrooms and an outdoor hot tub. The lodge was spotless, the instructions for use of the hot tub/log fire etc when we arrived were very clear, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered food to be delivered from the Tesco in Inverness, which arrived promptly and saved... More

We have just returned from an amazing weekend at Wildside. From checking in to checking out, everything was perfect. We stayed in the Partridge lodge, which is one of the larger three bedroom lodges. We were surprised at how much space we had, and the lodge had everything we could possibly need, including a jacuzzi bath after a long walk!... More

Hello Sarah, We are really pleased you had a great time whilst staying with us at Wildside. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. For your next visit we thought we would let you know that there is a torch provided in the kitchen drawer in each lodge- as you rightly mentioned it does get very dark... More
