Heatherdale Guest House was lovely and nicely decorated. The room we had was very spacious with a big window. We were very impressed that our bedroom had an 'antique look' about it, with the dark wood, double bed and art work, but was fresh and new as well. The parlour / livingroom / sitting room is sunken (pretty cool really) and was huge (their web photo does not do it justice) and had a great view through it's big windows. We were made to feel very welcome by Mrs. MacIver and of course the breakfast was traditional and very good. I usually like to stay in older, antiquated places, but I will be going back here and bringing people with me when we come up in the autumn. more
