I arrived in Tain by train and walked the ten minutes to the guesthouse on an unseasonably warm day with luggage that was like carrying bowling balls! Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2006; American dollars sent via snail mail for deposit that were refunded at arrival. Nice welcome, wonderful large room, tastefully decorated and very recently updated, quiet and comfortable. Located off A9 Tain loop road. Nearby large grocery. GREAT breakfast! more
