The Adamo was superb. We were given a suite room, which was absolutely fantastic. The neighbourhood was quiet, and it's only a few minutes walk from the train station. After reading other reviews, we went to the restaurant down stairs for dinner; some of the best food I've had in a long time - and for a stupidly cheap price!... more

My girlfriend booked this renovated hotel as a surprise, and it was well worthy of it. The room was a delux on the 1st floor, all made to look like it's solid teak design, wardrobes, dressing table etc.. There was a massive bed with a even bigger padded headboard reaching upto the ceiling. The bathroom was pretty special too, with... more

We spent our wedding night , in one of the suites . It was a self contained flat , beautifully furnished , everything was controlled by remote control. We had rose petals and champagne. The bathroom was fantastic , and the power jet bath for two was something else. We had a late check out. 3pm more

Dined and then later in the same week stayed in one of the suites on the top floor after my wedding. Finished a perfect day off. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food in the restuarant is superb and good value for money. Coming from London you have a little gem hidden away in the town. Strongly recommend the food and... more

My husband and I had booked this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary after reading the review in the Scotsman. What a terrible disappointment! On entering the restaurant the noise was deafening as there was a large party of diners who had been separated from the other diners by a very thin curtain. We noted that the tables for 2 were... more

We stayed for one night in the Adamo Hotel. It was a last minute booking for a Saturday nighy as we decided to go to the Bridge of Allan Highland Games on the Sunday with some friends who stay in Bridge of Allan. I found a room in the hotel on Expedia but phoned the hotel direct to check that... more

Stayed here almost a year ago and have just booked to go back later this month. I normally stay in Holiday Inn type hotels but as I was working at the university just up the road from this hotel I decided to give it a try. What a pleasant change from the "same old" corporate image of the chain hotel... more

Booked a DBB deal at the Adamo for a Saturday night stay. On arrival we had been upgraded to a suite - room 8 on the second floor. The room on first look was very swanky. As you walked into the room the bathroom was finished in glass with a jacuzzi bath, steps up to a lounge with 2 sofas,... more

We stayed at the Adamo hotel for one night. We were in a "penthouse suite" not sure how it differed from other rooms, personally it was the same as any other place we have stayed. The bed was wonderful and soft and I slept well, but the sensor light in bathroom can be a bit irritating if you forgot to... more
