We went to The Inn for dinner with friends last week and I must say what a change for the better compared to last year. Staff, food, prices were all so much better. Candles everywhere created a real feeling of warmth and they were high enough not to burn little fingers. First class, we will be back. more

Please note that the inn has changed hands this summer. It was closed for some time. I tried to have dinner here 14th Feb 08 but left after seeing a very disappointing menu with very little help from smiling staff with little english. The owner did not reply to my letter of complaint I hope the new owners can get... more
Stopped here for dinner after a drive in the area. Despite the fact that there were very few other customers in the establishment, we were kept waiting for our food for at least 30 minutes and quite frankly, it sounded much better on the menu than it tasted! Won't be back anytime soon. more
We were under no illusions when we booked this hotel. The owner told us that the rooms had no frills and that it was just "a wee pub". Anyone who remembers the Crown Hotel will no doubt agree that the Inn is a change for the worse. Whilst the food was of a very high standard, it's not what you'd want or expect from a pub. We spent a night at the Inn at Kippen, and despite being told by the owner that it was "just a pub" it proved to be a gourmet experience.
