On the last week of May this year I stayed at Lambeth House, guest-house for the 6th time in the last 9 years. The place is just great. Excellent food, great Scottish breakfasts and evening meals cooked to perfection by Margaret, our hostess. Lambeth House is also well located in the centre of Bowmore and therefore also in the centre of Islay, the whisky island. If you feel not fit after a full day of distillery visiting or bird watching you can put your feet up in the lounge with a bottle of your favourite malt.
This year we were 5 friends who enjoyed a great 3 night stay and obviously we're back next Feis Ile. Thank you John & Margaret for your hospitality! more
