Amazing location, clean, big and quiet rooms, incredible owner, traditional scottish breakfast, ocean view... I think I couldn't expect more form a B&B. Definitely will be back again..! more
We stayed for 3 nights and the host Joy was just wonderful. She always had time to explain things or make a call to book something. We Stayed at Askernish and were delighted to meet the proprieter Joy. She had a smile for everybody and made our stay a welcome break. We both agreed we would stay there again at the old surgery and would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anybody going to port ellen. P & J Crawford more
If you are traveling to the isle of Islay to explore the local distilleries, you could not do better than to stay at the Askernish B & B in Port Ellen, with Joy Prentice, Proprietor.
