Stayed a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The breakfast was plentiful standard scottish cooked fare - sausage, bacon, eggs, plus cereals, bowl of fruit, toast etc. Room and bathroom very spacious. Joy the hostess is very welcoming and friendly.

Just returned from 2nd stay at Joy's wonderful B&B, Cannot rate Askernish high enough. The rooms are very spacious, bath is huge and the views are stunning. Looking forward to 3rd visit when I hope it's more than a one night stay.

The Askernish was the one B&B that had a single room avaliable. Lucky me. It was simply perfect! We stayed for one night in a clean, comfortable room with large ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The owner was very welcoming and informative. Overall an ideal place to stay if you are planning to visit the lovely island of Islay.

We stayed at Askernish B&B for three nights and this was one of the best B&Bs that we have ever been to. Our room (double + spare bed) was nice, tidy and had everything we needed, but the bathroom was even better. We stayed for 4 nights. We were offered two different rooms and chosen the one upstairs with a huge bathroom. The room was very tidy,cosy, quiet, and wonderfully furnished. Bathroom was clean and spacious (bathtub and shower were big). Breakfast was excellent (lots of choices). The B&B owner (Joy) was cheerful and very friendly. Great accomodation.

Just had an overnight stay at Askernish and I have got to say it was the best nights sleep I have had for over 2 years. Everything about the B&B is absolutely fantastic. Joy takes so much pride in all she does. Fantastic place to stay.
