Stayed here 10.04.13 my first visit to stornoway.Found the hotel to be very clean but dated,this added to the character of the hotel.The staff were very friendly and most helpful.The food was excellent and will most certainly be returning here for a long weekend in the summer.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were made very welcome, the room was very comfy and we were given an extra heater incase needed. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfy, everything you need for a short stay in Stornoway. Also hotel is very central and not over priced!

Called into this Hotel for an evening meal before catching the ferry back to Ullapool.First class friendly service by a lovely man in a Kilt,nothing was a problem and lovely pickled herring.

An old hotel that now looks a little tired but with the best food in the town and a most helpful and friendly staff/propieter. Our room was on the small side of average with an even smaller bathroom but we had three comfortabel nights in the hotel.

Crown hotel Stornoway is a good place to stay for a short break.Rooms are SPOTLESS - May be a bit dated, but has all one needs. Food is excellent and well worth the prices charged, Breakfast is also great. Will definitely go back.
