Stayed one night at the Royal Hotel. It is an old building with some character, and a nice change from some of the modern chain hotels.
Room was spacious, clean with a small, modern shower room.
Ate in the bar and the menu has a good selection that would meet all tastes. Local suppliers are named eg a local butcher....
